Dealer vetting process
Document collection
To get access, every dealer submits: Motor Dealer Licence (MDL), CIPC registration, the appointed bidder's / director's ID, and proof of trading address.
Activation review
MotoBidz checks the submitted documents before activating a dealer. Only dealers who have completed this step can bid. This is a point-in-time check of the documents provided — not a guarantee of a dealer's ongoing conduct, solvency, or that a licence remains valid after activation.
What this vetting does not cover
This vetting applies to dealers only. MotoBidz does NOT verify the vehicle, the seller, or any seller-supplied document. Those are displayed to dealers as uploaded, and each dealer is solely responsible for their own due diligence before bidding.
